Welcome to PracticePal AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PracticePal AI mobile application (the “App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Account Creation
You may create an account using Google or Apple sign-in services. We only collect your name and email address to facilitate login. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Subscriptions and Payments
PracticePal Premium is our paid subscription plan, available on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple App Store or Google Play using RevenueCat. All purchases are final and non-refundable. Please review the applicable store's subscription and billing policies.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or disruptive purposes.
- Attempt to bypass any rate limits or protective features.
- Interfere with or disrupt our servers, infrastructure, or the experience of other users.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms.
AI Service Disclaimers
PracticePal AI includes an AI-driven chat feature that offers personalized practice advice based on your practice profile (instrument, skill level, and music style). This feature is powered by OpenAI’s API and responses are generated automatically.
Important Notes:
- The AI is intended solely for music practice guidance and does not provide general advice or information outside of that scope.
- Your messages and practice profile are not stored on our servers. All conversation history is saved locally on your device.
- We make no guarantees about the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated advice. Use at your own discretion.
Intellectual Property
All content on the App, including logos, graphics, branding, visual design, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of PracticePal AI. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without express written permission.
Feedback and Suggestions
We welcome your feedback and suggestions. By submitting feedback, you agree that we may use it without compensation or credit. All feedback may be used to improve or enhance our services at our sole discretion.
Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services, including:
- Supabase for authentication via OAuth (Google and Apple).
- RevenueCat for processing payments and subscriptions.
These services have their own privacy and data policies. We recommend reviewing them before use.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PracticePal AI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms in the App. Continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
